• No delay, but we have a soundbar attached to it too - so we're not using the sound on the tvs.

• Pretty normal. If you turn on two TVs in two rooms without them being tied together you will most likely hear the same thing. I didn't see any difference using the unit or not compared to two TVs with two cable boxes. Same minor echo either way.
