you should be able to however I have no clue about Daton eqp or the R.M.S rating is. If you working with EX: 20 rms your old sub and speakers will not have any sound that will please you.... Remember Distoration is what blows speakers not power. If rms is to low 30 watts total then you have 15 per channel plus sub. To many varables to answer you question with conformation. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are no volume/level controls on this unit. Is your subwoofer powered, as in has its own amp? That may be your problem, it has to be hooked to an amp. You could get an amp and wire it between this wireless unit and your sub.

I have found if I do not have my amp turned up high enough to produce a good base, the unit will not even activate. In my opinion this is fine as I only keep it down when others in the house may be trying to sleep. I purchased a sub with a volume control built in to it, so I can turn it up higher even without needing to adjust the amp. Not sure really if this answered your question for what you were looking for, but at Best Buy one good thing is you can return it if it doesn't.
