• Yes, this kit will transmit through walls. The range of this subwoofer kit is 45 feet and walls may interfere and lower that range.

• Yes, I have mine installed in a closet/cabinet in the basement and the sub is one floor up in the living room. Haven't had any issues.

• The unit will work through walls. Typical range is 45 feet but could be a little less through walls. Also make sure you don't have a lot of electrical wires running through the wall - it might affect your signal strength.
