Hello DR, if you purchase a Roku tv you will not need your Roku device or remote for that tv. You can download the prime app right on the tv as the tv works exactly the same as the device. You can use that device for another tv or keep it for on the go for hotels or friends and family’s homes that don’t have smart TVs.
