As long as you go thru the Xfinity app, you’ll get everything you now get thru Xfinity. The remote makes it easier to get to other subscription services, like Netflix.

I also use the Roku to stream several free TV networks such as ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW no differently than if I stream them on-line through my computer, Smart phone or tablet. By streaming directly through the networks you can watch shows that were broadcast earlier or watch shows live.
