Do I need some kind antenna for local channels null

You need WiFi with Roku...and a cable provider that supports Roku...But if you don’t have cable or WiFi just buy one of those antennas they sell now that you can pick up local channels within so much range.....I bought one in family dollar and can pick up approximately 7 local channels. Good for when WiFi or cable go out...at least have some sort of tv.
