There is a YouTube app. However you can also use the Media player app to stream media from your PC to your Roku. This does require some Windows configuration to make the connection. I do this with a Roku 3 for streaming recorded videos, digital photos and my favorite music. The Media player will recognize MP4 video files but not older formats. Make sure to download the Roku branded app and not the other 3rd party free apps - some have ads aka spam. Once set up your PC just needs to be turned on, not logged in for this to work. The navigation is very basic step-through using the arrows on the remote and it works! This is also the app to use with the Roku 3 for using USB storage devices. Pretty cool huh?

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does that well, but it's a pain to type in the YouTube video on the remote so I would recommend downloading the app. I haven't done that, but it is supposed to help with that.
