• Of course not, your Roku is built into your TV, might get a better picture if it's not a newer model with HDR, HDR+, or 4k but I doubt it! Have seen a 720 pixel Roku TV have just as good of quality picture as 1080 or even some 4k TV models!

• Hi, Notech! You do not need a Roku device for a Roku TV. Both a Roku TV and Roku device provide the same great content. Most people buy Roku streaming players to turn their non Roku TV into a Roku TV.
