Its compatible with about any modern TV. The soundbar becomes the Ruku receiver, and connects to the TV through an HDMI cable. Check your TV for and HDMI port with a label 'ARC'. ARC stands for Audio Return Channel. If your TV has this, its just one HDMI connection between the soundbar and TV. If you have just standard HDMI only, then you need to connect and HDMI and a digital audio cable. Note that the TV may just have one HDMI ARC port among many ports, so check all the ports to make sure.
