The Roku stick 3600 has a faster processor (quad core)than the fire stick(dual core). Roku stick also has way more fee apps(channels) than the fire stick, some of them that Amazon charges are free on Roku. Roku can search through text or voice, whether you use its remote (text only) or it's app. It can search the available titles of a wide variety of channels. Both are close in price
