• Yes buy the Roku 1 it allows you to hook up from HDMI or older TVs

• I believe the Roku 1 player has a composite video out in addition to the HDMI port that can be used with legacy TVs. Check the Roku website.

• You'd need to get a converter that does HDMI to composite or RF (cable) in order use it. The converter will also need to have some kind of HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) support or a way to fool the Roku into thinking it's hooked up to something that supports HDCP as it likely won't display video from Netflix or any other service that streams video without that. When HDCP isn't detected a purple screen will be displayed that says "HDCP Unauthorized. Content Disabled". Good luck!

• You can purchase an HDMI to USB if you have just a USB port. Also Roku makes a Wifi unit for tv's with no USB by using an A/V cable.

• You would need to get a HDMI to RCA converter. I'm not 100% sure that Best Buy sells these, but you can ask someone in a Best Buy store or search for one online. There are also some cables with a male HDMI on one end & a RCA connection on the other, which would work with a Roku box, whereas you'd need a converter to use a Roku stick.

• Unfortunately, the Roku stick must have an HDMI port on the TV to plug into. You may be limited to using only the Roku 1 with your TV. I has both HDMI and conventional AV plugs like older camcorders, VHS players, and DVD players had. Go to Roku.com and look at all their devices and compare features.
