• It might depend on your service provider and the contract you have with them. I have spectrum for my wifi and my bill has remained the same. hope this helps :)

• I had to upgrade my basic cable so it wasn't choppy, but we are an internet intense home. And all our tv viewing is through multiple Roku devices. 4 computers, 4 phones, four roku's.. I don't regret it.
