I don't think you'll have much luck with this on dial up. Dial up usually doesn't provide enough bandwidth for decent video streaming.

I took mine to Mexico and it worked just fine. It all about the speed of the internet, I'm confused as in the diel up thing tho, most places in Mexico have wifi (unless you live in the ruel areas) I went to Michoacán and it worked fine for me.
