• Correct. The Roku requires an HDMI input. Any HDMI port on a laptop would be an HDMI output.

• As far as I know Roku streams you internet signal to your tv. I am not understanding why you would need to stream to a laptop when you can stream directly to it,

• Yes you can not use on computer .if you have an internet wifi connection you should be able to use

• It should work anywhere with wifi and internet access. It will not work on most laptops. The HDMI port on most laptops is a video out only
