I’m not sure about all your apps but I used my RoKU using my phone as a hotspot. It worked great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It would be best to install those apps on the Roku itself instead of mirroring. In most cases you can mirror if you really want to, but you may need other apps to do so. I believe Roku uses Miracast and phones like Pixels do not support that natively. In many cases though, if you have an app (say YouTube) on the Roku and the phone it will open the app on the Roku and start the same media anyway no matter what phone you have.
