Do you need to plug into a wall outlet to use this? null

You have to have power, but you can use the USB plug in your tv or you can use a power outlet (USB or regular) with the included plug. All the necessary cables are included unless you need to have a longer power cord.

One unanswered point: If my AV receiver has a powered, dedicated HDMI streaming port on back (Denon AVR-x1800H) , can the Streaming Stick 4K get power direct from the AVR's HDMI port (making it unnecessary to use the stick's included power cable)?
