The Roku app for android and likely ios too allows you to connect to an Android device via bluetooth or 3.5 plug to listen silently. This applies to Samsung and Moto and Google phones as well as tablets like the Samsung A8 or Lenovo M10.

This particular Roku device does not include a remote with a headphone jack, however, there is a Private Listening feature available on our free Roku Mobile App. https://www.roku.com/mobile-app. You can also pair it with our Roku Voice Remote Pro is rechargeable and features hands-free voice controls, private listening, personal shortcut buttons, and even a lost remote finder. https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/roku-voice-remote-pro (Note: the Roku Voice Remote Pro does not include headphones).
