• Yes... I purchased it to replace an older Roku that didn't support AppleTV.

• We are an android family also but the Roku Ultra can also download the Apple TV app as well. Enjoy.

• If your Roku system supports Apple TV you can definitely watch your programs and movies. I have a Roku Ultra and it will definitely support Apple TV. I hope this helps.

• No, they are competitors. Apple will not grant access to Roku. I'm sure Roku would be willing to add them to the list of available channels.
