I just put in bogus information, tuned around after I was up and running and went to Edits and deleted information....Everything still works, except now if I want to rent a movie or pay for a streaming company like Netflix I have to go to their site.... but I got it for the free TV so that's no big deal....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cannot remember how I bypassed the credit card request about two years ago but it can be done. I found several sources by reviewing YouTube videos that were several years old and it was time consuming but once done all other ROKU devices afterward automatically connected with no further requests for info or credit card info (ROKU express and ROKU TV for kitchen.).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Apparently Roku ain't talkin'. I gave the device a single star and would give it zero if I could. It goes back today because I can't find out anything about how to get around Roku's insistence I provide them with PII and credit card info that they have no need for. I got it yesterday for $30 off but I don't care. It is not going in my home. Hey Roku....You can keep it. Pfffffffffftttt!
