Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does show Closed Captions. I know this because I accidentally pressed a button and the captions came on. Took a while to figure out how to turn it off. Finally did - but can't tell you how to do it. Remote is a little tricky.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In some services the option appears as your program starts. For instance, Netflix gives that option in the upper left of the screen. Netflix allows you to pause anytime anytime, select "audio and subtitles" where you can turn on english CC, other languages if available, and which audio track you want. On older (Roku) models, the "star" key would give you the option of closed captions on replay only, totally off, or on all the time. MOST services should have this available through one key or another on the ROKU remote, but may not be available on some services.
