I have a universal remote control programmed to a older model roku 3100 plus directv, Blu-ray player, etc.. I want to buy a newer model roku ultra. Will I need the geeks squad to come out and reprogram my universal remote so it works with the new roku? null

Hi John, 

The remote with the new roku is pretty cool. It is only able to turn on your TV and control the volume. It's very easy to do. You press and hold two buttons simultaneously until your TV turns off and then you're good to go. No need to bring Geek Squad in for that. The directions are very clear so you'll be fine.

I think the remote with ultra is all you need i would not mess with another remote.
