“Hi, I have one more question as I am trying to move to streaming. I see that I can download the apps for various packages (Hulu, Discovery+, etc) to my smart TV and XboxOne. Why do I need Roku or Apple TV if I can just use my smart TV or XBox? Thank You.”

You do not. But if you have spectrum cable you can get rid of your boxes and use the Roku for both. Also, your Xbox One S will steam spectrum if you have it without a cable box.
