• A:Answer Most likely NOT. While I can get my Denon AVR to power on when using the Roku remote to turn on the TV, it does not correctly power off the Denon AVR. The signal to the Denon AVR at poweroff is to mute the Denon AVR. The Roku remote does seem to be able to control volume for my Denon AVR, but beyond that there is little control capability. Since you did not provide what brand and model of amplifier you have it is basically impossible to say whether or not the Roku remote can control it, though.
