A:AnswerIt is indented enough to allow use of the fingerprint reader. I haven't had an issue with the case although when my fingers are wet, the sensor itself has an issue. Otherwise, it's a nice case and functions as designed with no perceivable impact to the sensor. Good luck.
A:AnswerThe case has a sturdy clear and protective plastic glass. The side material is hard, rubbery and is of a solid black material. Not plastic. I don't like the way the on/off etc side button space is indented. It's awkward.
