• I believe mine is a 3 as well and it has a holding strap that you can rotate

• It doesn't come with a lanyard (the strap) but more importantly this will not fit your device well cutouts little different screen side too maybe just don't get it make sure it's for the model you need or it won't be snug enough and may not protect your device:

• This does not fit the mini iPad three this is for the mini iPad mini 4 , 5, but it is really made for the five iPad mini 2019 Zenrich makes a case like this for the iPad mini 3.
