• A:Answer I used a slightly water-dampened microfiber cloth, and dried it with a dry microfiber cloth. I did this over and under the entire cabinet, including the glass doors.

• A:Answer The cabinet has six legs (four corners plus two middle legs that are 1/3 of the distance from each side). My 65" TV and stand weigh a combined 75 pounds, spread evenly over 39". If the weight of your TV is well-distributed, the six legs should bear the weight well. I would be wary (with any cabinet) of placing an expensive TV on top of a cabinet if its stand is less than 28" wide.

• A:Answer I agree. If I wanted to build furniture, I would have become a carpenter. My Salamander Designs cabinet was delivered fully assembled in a well-packed box from Connecticut (February, 2021). It was in perfect condition. I live alone, and the cabinet is heavy. I opened the top of the box to confirm it was already assembled, then I turned the box so that it was on its back. Then I gradually pulled it out of the box. Then I was able to examine the product to see it was in perfect shape. I recommend two people!

Q: QuestionWhen you have to move this unit, can you slide it across a wooden floor without causing any damage to the floor?

• A:Answer I would strongly advise placing furniture pads under each of the six legs. The cabinet weighs nearly 300 pounds, and would most certainly mar a wooden floor. Given the wiring typically associated with A/V cabinets, there will be be times when you need to access your A/V components from the back. So, furniture pads are a must.

• A:Answer The top is exactly 72" long by 21" deep. The height from the floor to the top of the cabinet is 25". The cabinet top is the longest and deepest part of the cabinet.
