Q: QuestionCan this unit handle a 50 inch television?

• A:Answer I’m pretty positive it can. It holds up to 150 pounds per shelf. The power amplifier above my double cassette deck is almost 80 pounds. It is pretty sturdy.

• A:Answer Yes, You can use can use only 3 shelves (I would place two shelves on the bottom base). It does not affect the height.
