• You can put it in Eco model to turn the display off. No, you do not remove the turntable for grilling.

• Hi Wonderwoman. The clock illumination can't be adjusted. On the other hand, when using the grilling option, for best results, place the food on the metal rack which is placed on the turntable tray. ^Gaby
