Hi RichinTN, We appreciate your question about the types of ventilation the microwave can be configured as well as the fan speeds. The microwave can be configured to vent in 1 of 3 ways. a. Outside top exhaust (vertical duct) b. Recirculating (non-vented ductless) c. Outside back exhaust (horizontal duct) Please refer to pages 12 - 15 of the installation manual I have shared exhaust configuration. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/EM/202202/20220223181502042/Install_ME11A7510DS_AA_DE68-04709A-01_EN-MES_220120.pdf The microwave has 4-speed types. They are Boost, High, Medium, and Low. Should you need more assistance, please feel free to get back to us via the following options: 1. Facebook Messenger: http://m.me/samsungsupport 2. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Installation is simple as long as you have 2 people that know what they’re doing, I did it myself and messed my back up… it has 3 fan settings, I have it on the recirculating setting and it really doesn’t suck much, nothing like the video best buy advertises… I thought it was a defect so I had it swapped out for a new one and the new one sucks a little better but not as it should. however it does blow a lot of air out of the top. At its highest setting it’s pretty loud.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the fan is internal, the air comes out clean from the top front part, it does not need a duct and it has 3 speeds
