Nope, it has a plug and is recommended to plug into a gfi outlet. I’m actually glad it’s not hardwired. We’ve had this microwave for about a month now, and already had one instance where the panel froze up and wouldn’t allow me to enter any numbers. A quick unplug and replug fixed the problem. Hope it doesn’t keep happening. Great microwave other than that one issue.
