• It's not that bright. You have a 40 watt bulb in the range hood? I did in my hood, this bulb isn't that bright, it's ok for me though.

• The bulb that comes in the microwave is not very bright at all-probably could get a higher wattage to replace. Personally I don't recommend this particular microwave! It burns some things and doesn't heat others-very uneven cooking-very loud-fan is pretty much useless unless you can vent it out. Wish I could return it but Best Buy has that ridiculously short return time and I guess I'm stuck with this POC thing until we move. Should have spent a little more and gotten a better one, but too late now.

• Light has 2 settings. The bright setting is dim. I'm looking to convert to LED bulb or a brighter bulb if available.
