In order for the microwave to be connected to the wall using the supplied brackets, it must be hung from the base of the cabinet. Merely sitting the unit inside a cabinet will give it no anchor against tipping with the door open, and the unit will vibrate during the convection oven function due to lack of attachment to a solid surface.
