“Is the door frame made of plastic or steel? The door frame of my current microwave which is mounted above the gas stove, has broken apart leaving the handle dangling. Not sure if this is due to the heat rising up from the stove, but want to avoid.”

I belive it’s made of plastic. Just because it happened to us as well. And I didn’t think about the heat of the stove due to being above it. Smh
