“Although the interior light comes on when the door is opened the light does NOT come on during the microwave operation and you cannot see anything inside (i.e. turntable or food). Since the inside is very dark this feature is important to me.”

The light is on when it works, since the inside color is blue, and the front see thru pannel is tinted, you dont see much light. But this is enough for me, and i have no complaints..
