The computer will keep working, however after June 2021 there is no guarantee that websites will be compatible with the unsupported Chrome browser (i.e. security updates may be incompatible with the unsupported browser). Also, some applications may no longer function properly, without update support. That's a worst case - Google might let a few more months of updates go by, and usage for basic browsing purposes will still work. But, for security-minded applications or web surfing, do so at your own risk. The wonderful answer from Samsung and Google reps is to go out and buy yet another replacement chromebook after June 2021 if you are really security minded. Just factor that into your budget. You can do the math on how many months remain between June 2021, and whenever you are reading this.
