QuestionIs there a way to stop the refrigerator from making ice? We don't use it as quickly as it fills up.

- Answer When you open the refrigerator, on the top, the first button to the left that says " Ice Off". When you turn off this option, you will see a little picture in the first screen ( looks like the ice bin ) after the degrees number that says " Ice Off " inside the picture. Press the button as you look to the screen. The ice bin will turn off when the picture is displayed and will turn on when the picture disappears.

QuestionThe refrigerator is in a 5th wheel RV. How long will the refrigerator operate from a 12 volt battery using an invertor? The battery is a 27 series showing 135 minutes @ 23 amps.

- Answer Hi Lynn, please allow sufficient space to the right, left, back and top for air circulation. In the back of the refrigerator, you will want to allow sufficient space for the water line. ^Rosi

QuestionIf chose to purchase the samsung 17.5 cu ft french door model, and i live in an old building complex, i understand that this model comes with an ice maker inside the unit but i would like to not use the ice maker function, would that be possible?

- Answer Hi Kiki, you do not have to install the water line, if you do not intend on using the ice maker. You will want to make sure the ice maker is turned off after it is installed. ^Rosi
