i don't think so. Use regular speakers for your receiver. This is for auxiliary out items like a tv or disc player

I believe they use standard cabling which is compatible with most other brands. I am connected to a Samsung so obviously they work fine. The Samsung wiring is not proprietary so you should be ok.
