• I have used this sound bar with vizio and sony tvs among others. with a Samsung tv it will allow the tv remote to control sound bar volume.

• It should work as long as your tv has an HDMI, Optical or bluetooth hook up.

• I cannot answer your question as I have a Samsung smart TV hooked to it therefore both compatible and easy to link together I was told I could buy a Sony to hook to it but decided to stay with Samsung and Samsung for ease and price. sorry I cannot help with your question however I do believe you could find out directly from a store rep
