• Yes, I can set volume up/down on my Directv remote and it shows the soundbar dots on TV screen. I use the HDMI-ARC connection from Samsung TV to soundbar.

• Yes. If your TV is connected via Bluetooth to the sound bar and you normally use the directv remote for volume prior to getting sound bar it should work.

• Yes set up system though your Samsung TV once wirelessly connected then your remotes should work as normal.
