• Hi Tiffany! Once both the soundbar and subwoofer are plugged in and powered, the sub for the HW-A430 will wirelessly connect to the soundbar eliminating the need for complicated setup or wires running from the sub to the soundbar. Please know, the wireless signal may be interrupted when going through walls. The maximum distance for the wireless connection is approximately 33 ft. ^Tim
