• Hi Murat! HDMI ARC is the best connection for both audio quality and device control. Using HDMI allows the TV remote to quickly change the volume of the soundbar, as well as provides a wider range of audio formats and surround sound support when connected to the TV. ^Tim

• According to the manual, the HDMI Arc connection is supposed to be better. I personally prefer the Optical. You cannot use both connections simultaneously, as they cancel each other out. It is a matter of preference.
