How difficult is the installation? null

I wish I would have paid to have it installed but I think the issue has to do with that it was replacing my old one. It was easier to old school it and use a tape measure and trash the template that came with the instructions.

If you already have a over the range microwave it is very easy. Take down the old install the new wall bracket and ours has the plug in for it in the cupboard a above. Thread the cord through and plug in. We do not have a out side vent for it so there was a adjustment that my husband made on the top before we hung it in place so it would vent though the bottom.

No worse/better than any other over the range microwave.

About he same as any other microwave. Not a walk in the park...but don't need a professional.
