• Hi JimD! Yes, you can remove the ice bucket to retrieve any ice that has been made. Page 65 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/2PF7I3u) has instructions on how to do this. ^Jecca

• Hello, You can. If you lift up on the front of the ice maker while pressing the plastic guard where the ice falls though, it will release and you can slide the ice tray out.
