I have been forced to call out service techs twice in the year I have bought my Samsung to repair your symptoms. Each time with hesitation, I was told by the service tech that Samsung was aware of this defect. The solution was to replace the Assembly Auger Motor, the Assembly Ice maker itself and the Assembly "Y" clip. My symptoms were similar to yours. The ice maker could not maintain a constant temperature causing the ice to "re-freeze" and clog the ice maker preventing production of ice. The freezer had similar problems as if the thermostat could not maintain a constant temperature causing ice cream to melt then re-freeze and frost to form on all the items stored in the freezer. Good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Jloomis. Please, make sure to have the recommended temperature which is 0°F for the freezer and 38°F for the fridge. If you already have that temperature and nothing has changed feel free to contact us via Facebook/Twitter: @SamsungSupport or Live Chat: https://bit.ly/2z9FXFr ^Joan
