“Has Samsung discovered the root cause and initiated any corrective actions in response to the alleged manufacturing defects regarding the water dispenser malfunction? IMO this is a trend that should have been picked up by their quality system by now.”

Not sure if they have fixed it or not… But they got to be aware of it…. A tech told me that for such a high quality fridge that 90% of the water dispenser problem is just the water line entering the back has around a foot or so of it is freezing. They need to just insulate at least that section of it.
