Our space is exactly 36 inches wide and the counter depth fit there tightly so if you have 37 inch width you should have at least 1/4-1/2 inch on each side. Just be sure to measure your space in several areas. Ours was 36 inches near top but just under near bottom. We had to sand our cabinetry at bottom area to get the fridge to fit. Nothing to do with the fridge just cabinetry settling over time or humidity...not really sure the cause of it.

Samsung does recommend allowing about 2 inches of space on all sides to allow proper air flow and functioning. ^Jecca
