A:AnswerThe refrigerator itself does NOT need to be turned on. If the unit doesn't come back on when the power is restored I'd check the breakers and make sure that they haven't tripped. Hope this helps!
A:AnswerI have a 31" door opening, and they got it in without removing the French doors. The freezer drawer has to come out though. To get through the 31" door opening there has to be enough room for it to go in at an angle, and then rotate through the door opening.
A:AnswerThanks for the question. There are several differences between the new RF263BEAEWW and the RF268ABWP. The newer model features upgraded High Efficiency LED lighting in both the fridge and freezer, a redesigned control panel and EZ Open freezer drawer handle, and the new IceMaster icemaker which takes up less space than the previous design while producing up to 10 pounds of ice per day. In addition, the upgraded slim water filter cartridge fits conveniently between the crisper drawers in the fridge to free up more room on the top shelf. While the RF268ABWP does not have all of these 2012 upgrades, it does feature Samsung's Dual Ice system with one icemaker in the refrigerator compartment and a second one in the freezer.
We appreciate your interest!

A:AnswerI have not been advised of that and had no issues leaving it on. I would assume that if you wanted to turn off the ice maker or water the instructions would be in the manual. Or you could just pull the fridge forward and shut off the water to the fridge while your gone.
A:AnswerThis fridge is GARBAGE!! Had it for 4 years & has been a piece of junk since the first year! Freezes over, ice maker has a major design flaw & freezes shut, water line flooded my kitchen after the last time it froze over.

A:AnswerSome local regulations may require new connection hoses with the purchase of a new appliance. Replacing your hoses every few years would be a good maintenance practice anyway :).
A:AnswerHello,
Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate you letting us know your inquiry if the door will allow the shelves to pull out entirely with a 36" opening. We understand that this information may be essential for you. We're here to help.
As per checking, the size of this Samsung refrigerator, if the door is open from the back, is 48".
You may also refer to the user manual to find the complete measurement of the product. See page 8.

A:AnswerThanks for the question, Donna. Most new Refrigerator models with the Ice Master ice maker don't have a release button on the side of the ice bucket. Instead, lift the front of the bucket to release it then pull it toward you. It isn't unusual for the bucket to require a firm lift and pull to be removed initially.
