• Most likely a defective ice maker unit. Samsung replaced ours twice during the warranty period. It is still not fixed and Samsung is washing their hands of our problem since we are now outside the warranty period. Good luck to you. I hope you get better customer service than we did.

• Could be the freezer door not closing properly or more than likely a bad worn door seal.

• I would say seam leak around the ice maker door/ flap.take a hair dryer and make sure it is clean and seals good around the ice flap going to the ice maker
