You need to subscribe to an in-demand service like hulu, neflix, amazon prime, or a live service like sling. You do that through your smart tv.

The smart apps do not work correctly on Samsung sets so don't bother with them. As far as broadcast channels, you need an antenna or cable hookup, obviously. Surely you know this.
