It only has one HDMI and one VGA input so a stand alone receiver for 4 cameras would not be possible. But if your security system uses a DVR or similar type of receiver then it should have those outputs. Just run the HDMI or VGA cable to the monitor like you would from your PC and you're all set, it's pretty much plug and play.
